Q.2. Make five more examples and find the greater number from them.

Ans:

(a) 32.55 or 32.5

In this case, whole parts for both the numbers are same. The tenth part are also equal, but the hundredth part of 32.55 is greater than that of 32.5

Therefore, 32.55 > 32.5

(b) 1.82 or 1.84

In this case, whole parts for both the numbers are same. The tenth part are also equal, but the hundredth part of 1.84 is greater than that of 1.82

Therefore,  1.84 > 1.82

(c) 6.05 or 6.50

In this case, the two numbers have same parts but the tenth part of 6.50 is greater than  that of 6.05

Therefore,  6.50 > 6.05

(d) 2.0 or 0.9

The whole part of 2.0 is greater than that of 0.9

Therefore,  2.0 > 0.9

(e) 1.08 or 1.089

In this case, the two numbers have same parts upto hundredth. But the thousandths part of 1.089 is greater than that of 1.08.

Therefore,1.089 > 1.08
